The League Club of Naples Awards Generous Grant to Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance
The Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance (IFHA) is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant from The League Club of Naples, Florida. The League Club awarded $30,400 to support IFHA and its efforts to provide affordable housing solutions for low-income and lower-income families in Immokalee.
For more than 37 years, The League Club has been a pillar of support for nonprofit organizations in Collier and Lee counties, providing a total of $7.3 million in grants to 217 organizations. The League Club's dedication to serving children, families, the elderly, and veterans aligns perfectly with IFHA's commitment to addressing the critical need for housing in the Immokalee community.
Funding for these grants is sourced from The League Club's Community Trust Fund, which is replenished through the organization's Annual Fundraiser and the generosity of its members and donors in the community.
"We are incredibly grateful to The League Club of Naples for their generous grant," said Dr. Arol Buntzman, Board Chair of IFHA. "With this grant we will be able to make significant strides towards our goal of providing safe and affordable housing for families in need in Immokalee."
The grant from The League Club will not only help IFHA in constructing the much-needed apartment buildings but will also contribute to creating a more equitable and inclusive community for all residents of Immokalee.
IFHA extends its deepest gratitude to The League Club for their ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in Southwest Florida. Together, IFHA and The League Club are working to build a brighter future for the hardworking families of Immokalee.
